Sentosa Port of Lost Wonder

It is truly a fun place for families to hangout. The children had a blast splashing, spraying with water. The only downside is the heat. Everything could have vaporised, literally. There were times i contemplated with thoughts of changing into my swim wear and join the father and son.

We were so worn out, we didn’t use the coins provided to participate any activities.

It has been an awesome day.

A Swell Day

Toiling a child and being pregnant makes it hard for me to visit the temple to pray for Qing Ming, so I went to my uncle’s place instead for a simple meal and made offerings to my granny dearest. It has been 7 years since you left us, but you exist in my heart and mind. Bond enjoys the elders’ company and gotten some nice gifts from my cousin sis. He absolutely love the giraffe toothbrush housing that Kelly gave him.

After that, we headed down to hubby’s buddy’s first child’s first month celebration. Once again, Bond had a blast. He had several lovely ladies’ company and was gleeful the entire day.

Though it was tiring for hubby and myself, but it certainly was a swell day.

Art & Craft

Bond has always been keen in trying art and crafts. He has been reminding me to let him attend art class. I am hesitant in sending him because I feel he might be a bit young.

Nonetheless I brought him to an art class for a trial. Initially Bond needed a bit cajoling as he was shy. But once he got over that, he absolutely loves the experience and wanted more. He actually paid attention and did his part to color when the teacher told him so. He also enjoyed the companies of all the much older children around him. Bond communicates with them well and comprehends their conversations.

The problem was, the art class was actually mention for children at least 5 years of age. Although the teacher was kind to accept his enrolment, she did mention he may not be able to learn much as he is the youngest there and wouldn’t be able to follow. And also Bond wanted me to accompany him during lesson time. While the teacher does not mind, she worries the concerns of other parents.

Once he is much older, i will consider art class again for him. In the meantime, he can do art with me.

Painting Easter eggs

I have been collecting eggs shells for some days now. We are ready to paint some easter eggs. Bond is very excited and listened attentively to instructions. He loves to do something new and thinks it was a very fun activity.

Reunion dinner

Mummy’s food are very delicious and heart-warming. Bond enjoyed playing the car and his biscuits. Grandma read story books to him, entertained and showered him. She sure is thorougly exhausted though as she prepared 10 whooping different dishes! The evening was casual and cheerful. 

Poop says “Hello!”

My son was doing his big business when he gave me a serious look and said,”I poop. Then the poop poop go Popo-Gonggong house and say ‘Hello’ to them.”

When hubby probed him further on what was poop gonna do? He continued saying,”Poop poop go through drainage and hug them. Kiss them.”

What an ingenious way of sending his greetings.

Later, I continued to ask…

Me: can poop poop kiss and hug Papa?
Bond: cannot!
Me: Mama?
Bond: cannot!
Me: can poop poop kiss/hug you?
Bond: cannot!
Me: why not?
Bond: bacteria!!

The darndest things kids say.
