Recipe: Nourishing Soup to Ease Cough

Ingredients:

– 80g to 100g of pork ribs
– 20g of sweet and bitter almonds
– 20g of Yu Zhu
– 3 pc Chinese Yam
– 1 honey dates
– carrots
– corns
– radish
– 500ml to 800ml of water depending how thick you like.

Seasonings:

– Quater teaspoon salt

Note:
I don’t usually put any seasonings as the ingredients are sufficient to flavor the soup well even with just 2 hours of stewing.

Method:

1. Parboil pork ribs. Remove after 10 minutes.

2. Chop corns, radish and carrots into small pieces.

3. Place all ingredient into pot. Add water.

4. Place into double boiler. Stew for 2 to 4 hours. Serve.
