Today is a memorable day.
Last year this time we were at Kong Meng San Phor Kark See too. I was pregnant with Tom then. Bond went with us too.
Although it is a huge crowd, it is still manageable and people are very tolerant.
Last year when we saw Abbot Kwang Sheng, he was sprinkling blessed water to all visitors and 3 steps 1 bow participants.
This year a venerable did the blessings.
This year we bumped into Abbot in the diners’ hall. The feeling is so serene and light.
Bond is very excited to see him. He told me the abbot held his palm and he is very happy.
Auspicious lanterns. May the light of wisdom dispel the darkness of ignorance.
This year, I am very happy to have Bond and Tom paying their respects to Buddha.
Happy is the birth of Buddha!
