Reading

In the afternoon, Bond didn’t want to study or read because his grandparents were around. Usually when they are around, i would have a hard time convincing Bond to do anything. Bond becomes mischievous and disobeys. So when it comes to me trying to teach him, it’s all in vain.

As always, when the grandparents went home, Bond will be his normal self and become an understanding boy and listens to instructions.

So this evening, after they went home, Bond took this book out and started reading. We had a jolly time reading and learning together. We went through almost he entire book. He enjoyed the topics so much, to the extend i had a hard time convincing him that he read enough and it was time for bed. Bond read this book till nearing 1am! I stopped him umpteen times, however he refused to listen. In order to lure him to bed, I told him to bring the book along and hug it to sleep. He sprang up from the sofa, hugging his book, said good night to papa, and walked straight to bed.

I wish every noon lessons would be filled with such enthusiasm.
