The lush pomegranate plant was a treasure found at the dumpster. Yup, someone actually threw this healhty plant away. It's growing so healthily, that it makes me look good to the neighbors and allows me to think I have green fingers which I do not have. So proud! GiddyUp pomegranate! Haha.
While the bald pomegranate plant was purchased from a nursery for $25. It wasn't looking like that when I first bought it. It used to be full, lush and glowing. And suddenly few days after Chinese New Year, it decided to shed its leaves like nobody's business. So much so that I needed to sweep up the entire lobby. The extent of shedding made everyone thought it won't survive. Thankfully, I didn't throw it away. Leaflets are developing and growing well. Eeeeaahhh pomegranate!
